RarePlots is not an aggregator. It is one person’s curated portfolio of land — parcels personally owned, or personally vouched for, in areas the curator knows intimately. The website exists to make that judgement legible: to show, parcel by parcel, exactly what has been checked, what is still pending, and what the honest risks are.

The land market in India runs on noise — inflated listings, vague “verified” badges, and prices that mean nothing. RarePlots is the opposite of that. A short list, vetted slowly, priced honestly, and explained in plain language. If a parcel has a problem, you’ll read about it here before you ever ask.

Our standard

The verification standard, published openly

Publishing the standard is the trust promise. Here is exactly what each tier means.

Curated

Personally vetted and vouched.

For a parcel to carry the Curated badge, all of the following are done:

  • Title traced and verified — 7/12 extract, ownership chain and mutation entries reconciled
  • Survey map checked against the physical boundary on the ground
  • Encumbrance search completed for outstanding charges or disputes
  • Land-use and zone classification confirmed with local records
  • Parcel personally walked, with the curator’s first-hand written assessment
  • Honest risk note published — what to watch for, openly stated
Network-referred

Introduced via trusted network.

Referred parcels are genuinely promising but only basic checks are complete:

  • Introduced by a known, trusted contact in the curator’s network
  • Title documents seen and reviewed at a basic level
  • Clearly labelled — buyer to independently verify before committing funds

On every listing page, individual checks are shown as completed or pending — never hidden behind a single badge.
